How to Use AliasesAliases can be used to reduce the amount of text you need to input in the course of your gameplay, specifically commands that you use repeatedly. For instance, while in the middle of combat and you are in need of healing, instead of having to type drink healing potion, you could create an alias to help accomplish the task:
alias h drink healing potion
Hence when ever you enter the 'h' command, you will drink a healing potion. Sometimes in the course of gameplay, certain repetitious commands will require certain variations in the middle of the command for instance, the budoka 'assault' command, which requires you to choose between:
assault 'target' with combos
-or-
assault 'target' with dim-mak
Aliases can be utilized to in the following manner to reduce the amount of text you need to input:
alias as assault $*$ with combos
alias aa assault $*$ with dim-mak
Hence, you need only to enter 'as <target>' or 'aa <target>', and the aliases will do the rest. **NOTE** Refreshing does not erase your list of aliases, and should you find that you would like to delete all aliases and start over, you can type: flushalias - to accomplish this deed.
